Ben prefers to be behind the camera than in front of as can be seen from this photo

Based  in Macau, SAR. Ben travels widely around the region shooting and teaching photography. He has over 20 years experience as a writer/photographer and was formerly a online content consultant to a Japanese camera manufacturer.

In his former incarnation, Ben was a motoring magazine editor as well as business magazine editor. He got sucked into the dizzying world of motor sports in the 90s before retiring in 2003. He was then the manager for the Novellus Infineon racing team participating in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Championship, which won the title that same year. He took up screen writing and came in second runner up in the MTVasia The Pitch screenwriting competition.

Since then, the has done a fair bit of writing, both for magazines and books. He helped to write a book for Konica Minolta, a year before they decided to quit the camera business. Ben’s last fling with cameras was two years ago for Sony Asia Pacific, where he was a DSLR consultant and was responsible for the Soccergraphy project. His experience and insight into technology gave him the edge in understanding the camera market as well as production positioning in social network marketing.
